Jeff Lucas is a graduate of Dunedin High School, Dunedin, Florida. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology in December 1986 from the University of Tampa where he attended on an Army ROTC full tuition, room and board scholarship. Jeff attended Army Officer training at Fort McClellan, Alabama and served in the United States Army as a Military Police officer.
Jeff received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, San Diego, California. After passing the Florida Bar exam, Jeff began his service as a Public Defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit working in Pasco and Pinellas County from July 1992 to April 1995. In June 1995, Jeff joined a civil litigation firm in Tarpon Springs, Florida where he continued practicing criminal defense but also expanded his practice to include civil litigation, specifically personal injury. Jeff handled a large caseload which included all types of cases from wrongful death, civil rights, homicide and hundreds of personal injury matters.
In January 1999, Jeff went into private practice in New Port Richey, and a year later went into partnership with Bob Attridge. The firm has grown substantially and now has three offices. Jeff Lucas is committed to excellent service for their clients and maximizing their clients’ settlements. The firm has invested substantially in its litigation department and often handles the litigation for other attorneys.
Jeff is a former Adjunct Professor at Pasco Hernando Community College teaching Civil Procedure, Trial Practice, Evidence, Torts and Criminal Law. Utilizing his legal experience, Jeff has volunteered to assist Dayspring Academy Charter School as their attorney. Jeff Lucas has given back to the community in numerous ways including but not limited to assisting veterans, police, firefighters, children and single parents through the Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer Community Foundation, Inc. and the law firm.
Jeff has tried a variety of criminal cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to homicide. Jeff’s civil experience ranges from contract work, auto accidents, slip and falls, civil rights, wrongful death, premise liability and various business law matters.
Jeff has been married to Dr. Josephine Lucas for over 28 years. They have two children.
Yvette Behmer
Bio:
Yvette is a native Floridian with more than nineteen (19) years of experience in theYvette Behmer financial and insurance industry. She is married and has three children and one grandchild. Yvette joined the Law Firm of Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer as a receptionist in August of 2004.
Yvette worked in several areas of the practice and continues to serve Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer in their Wesley Chapel Location as a Paralegal and Marketing Representative. Utilizing her years of experience in public relations and client services she is an active board member for the Non-Profit Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer Community Foundation, Inc. that The Law Offices of Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer created on September 1, 2015.
Yvette formerly served as the Secretary and Events Coordinator on the Board of Directors of Sand Soldiers of America that the Law Offices of Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer was a major contributor of.
Yvette enjoys helping others and being a part of an organization that invests in the community by honoring, educating and raising awareness for our Servicemen, Servicewomen, Veterans, First Responders, Single Parents and Children.
Leah Kershner
Bio:
Leah is a Shareholder of Peck Jenkins Kershner CPAs PA. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Internal Revenue Services. She provides accounting and tax services for a variety of business and individual clients. She is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. She grew up in Pinellas county and graduated as the recipient of the Humanitarian Award from Gibbs High School, Pinellas County Center for the Arts.
Leah holds an Associate of Arts degree from St. Petersburg College and a BS in Accounting from the University of South Florida. Leah is a member of the International Honor Organization, Beta Alpha Psi and a proud Aunt of an enlisted Military Police officer. Several of Leah’s direct family members have served in the armed forces previously including her father, grand father and brother , so she is a strong believer in giving back to support those that have given us the opportunities we have.
Her hobbies and interests include Fishing, Scuba Driving, and family related activities outdoors and she enjoys playing classical violin.

Drew was born in Long Island N.Y. and has called Florida home since 1985. He is married Drew – Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer Community Foundation, Inc. and has 3 sons, and 7 grandchildren. Drew is the President of Monte Designs LLC a Promotional Products and Imprinted Apparel company.
Drew is an active board member for the non-profit Organization Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer Community Foundation, Inc. Drew formerly sat on the board of Sand Soldiers of America which helped our returning Military men and women. Drew feels a need to contribute to our community, and to help our returning Military, our Law Enforcement, and or Fire Rescue. He believes they give us their all, we should all give back to them.

“Then Blue Line Rock The Night Dance Party and Fundraiser”
Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer Community Foundation, Inc. is extremely grateful for the generous support from our sponsors and community who shared a night of fun together with us for our Thin Blue Line event. We rocked the night together to benefit the Hernando & Pasco County Sheriff road deputies. While we raised money, we enjoyed live music from the band “the Actual Bank Robbers” and honored our deputies for their courageous work. 100% of the money raised will go to the Hernando & Pasco County road deputies’ benefit.
Halloween Spooktacular Dance Party
US War Dogs Music Buffet Event
February 26, 2017
Lucas, Macyszyn & Dyer Community Foundation, Inc. is proud to have presented a US War Dog Music Buffet on February 26, 2017 at the East Bay Country Club in Largo, Florida. Near 300 guests attended to enjoy the culinary extravaganza coordinated by the culinary rocker Johnny Ciao to help support the US War Dogs Association. It was an evening full of great food, music and fun. A favorite for everyone was the amazing presentation from Deputy Wilpse and K-9 Blaze with the Pinellas County Sheriff Department.
This event raised funds as well as donated items for US War Dog K-9’s and their handlers. The US War Dogs Association was founded by Ron Aiello in Burlington, NJ. Their efforts are focus on supporting K-9‘s and their handlers while overseas, as well as when they return home to the United States.
